back iKEY at DJ EXPO 2010 GCI exhibited at the DJ EXPO in Atlantic City, NJ in August 2010. The event is sponsored yearly by DJ TIMES Magazine. This year's event was at the magnificent Trump Taj Mahal by the Boardwalk in A.C.. GCI had a booth in a plum location right in the center of the hall (in front of the main stage), and exhibited items from all 3 of their product lines: IKEY, Gemini, and Cortex. Existing items from iKEY's recorder and monitor line, and from Gemini and Cortex's highly successful DJ product lines, were displayed and ready for demo. The IKEY RM3 was set up in a rig with DJ equipment to demonstrate its popular adoption as the rack recorder of choice for mobile DJs, and GCI employees had the portable M3, G3, and HDR7 recorders in pocket to show interested attendees. Also, a pair of M-606v2 monitors powered the popular rig in front of the booth that featured GEMINI's new CTRL-SIX Control Surface, displayed with the included VIRTUAL DJ Software. The hysteria you see in the picture is not from a famous DJ on the main stage (although there were plenty of those). It was a mob scene at the GCI booth near the end of each day at the show when the product giveaways happened! Everyone loves a freebie, and GCI came through big-time for some lucky show visitors who entered a business card to win some great and very useful product from IKEY, Gemini, and Cortex.
