While rear-firing ports can throw low-end frequencies into walls and corners, creating an imprecise image, front-firing ports ensure clear bass response for a mix without coloration, even at high SPLs.

For crisp natural highs, the M-808v2 houses a 1-inch neodymium driver on its soft-dome tweeter. This recessed high frequency driver also employs a purposeful waveguide that directs sound away from the cabinet, so your high frequencies are reproduced with articulate precision and without diffraction. Combined with outstanding bass response, the result is a highly detailed stereo image.

To reduce distortion, the monitor features a bi-amped design, with 100 watts of peak power delivered to the low frequency driver and 25 watts of peak power delivered to the high frequency driver.
