iKEY Plus UPDATE HISTORY (black unit)
No updates at this time.

To update the software on the iKEY, you will need a USB mass storage device, such as a USB flash drive, an iPod®, or a USB hard drive. If you are satisfied with the current performance of your iKEY, there is no need to update the software. If you choose to update the iKEY’s software, you must follow this procedure exactly:

1. Verify that the USB mass storage device that you are going to use is compatible with the iKEY.

2. Unzip the update file to the root directory of the mass storage device (X:\ where X is the letter of the drive). Make sure that your web browser does not add an extension to the file. The update file should be called ‘ikey_update’ without any file extension or '.gci' extension.

3. Power OFF the iKEY unit.

4. Connect the USB mass storage device (to which you have copied the update file) to the iKEY unit.

5. Power ON the iKEY unit and immediately press and hold REC and SEL buttons simultaneously, until the BUSY LED starts blinking. You may now release the buttons.

6. When the BUSY LED stops blinking and all LEDs flash once, the unit will reboot.

7. Once the unit has rebooted the unit will display for 2 seconds the remaining data storage on the USB device using the % LEDs.

8. Once #7 has begun the process is completed.
